Data recipients should consider the implications of allowing multiple data holders to be selected in this step as it may impact the quality of consent. Example: The data recipient allows the consumer to select several data holders at once, complete the authentication and authorisation process for one, and then allow the consumer to return at some point in the future to connect more data holders without reviewing the terms of consent again. This method of reducing friction would compromise the quality of consent if the time between data holder selection and authentication is too great.
