Referencing government accreditation or trusted parties provides social proof, which increases trust and legitimacy. CX research found this gave consumers instant reassurance and positively influenced their decision to continue. This was especially valued by the Assurance Seeker, Sensemaker, and Enthusiast behavioural archetypes.
